This blog is beginning to sound like a brag book but I can't post about the other gifts and leave this special one out, can I? My gorgeous gym girl buddies aka The Hunter Valley Girl's each bought me a glass bead for my new Pandora bracelet. This is turning out to be one memorable farewell. Thank you, each and every one of you (I luv ya's all).

DARE I SAY MORE BLING?
The last hoorah at the local 'Establishment' just had to happen - I accept that. What I almost fell off my chair with was what happened later in the evening. 1st of all can I say, M made me do it! - those tears spilling over don't come for any old soppy movie but when someone you know, knows you so well and they (in conjunction with others - but I know it was you!) do so something so special - even I had to shed a few (tears that is not kilo's unfortunately). Once again the photo can not do it justice but after 8 or 9 attempts I figured this was as good as it was going to get tonight (especially after a few champagnes). I have to let you know the inscription inside the card which I read before I opened the gift hidden in a Crabtree & Evelyn bag - little did I know. It said;
A Suitcase ... because you're leaving
A Four-leafed clover ... for luck
A Snowman ... because it's Christmas
An Elephant ... so you don't forget us
Love from your friends
These were the four charms on a beautiful silver Pandora bracelet. Let me ask you this - who wouldn't get emotional?
A special thank you to D for organising a lovely farewell and to you M for being so knowing.

BLING BLING!
I must say that this photo does not do them justice. I'm still loving them and my husband even more (there has to be some perks to having him away for 6 months and the birthday shopping gets handed over to the SIL aka The Divine Ms M who loves jewellery). I was also very lucky to receive a one off designer scarf made by a local designer, just perfect for a cold winter next year. Miss A (9) chose for me a lovely pink leather/chome pen complete with pink leather case - all on her on. Army Brat (5) chose me some spooky kid like wrapping paper but couldn't decide on anything, so I got the paper anyway and a card that has a charm on it saying 'I love to shop!' - he knows me well and the only way he escaped having to be dragged around while I do what I love is by starting school this year.
TENNIS PRO IN THE MAKING
Converse hi tops (albiet the fake $4 pair) discarded and the hair sprayed red - is this a star in the making? Well done 'Army Brat' for getting the 'Most Improved' tennis trophy today at your last lesson with 'The Coach'. Tough competition with Padawan Learner coming in a close second. Out of how many M?
